Strijp S

These pictures were all taken at Strijp S on Monument Day, September 2008. Aside from the exhibition of the work of local artists, of which few was memorable, and an open sports day with aircushion-volleyball and streetfootball, it was a unique opportunity for me to get a glimpse at some of the Dutch industrial heritage.

Decor for a dance performance by teenage ladies. We just missed it.

This was one of the few artworks I really appreciated: Floating Volcano Landscape. It had real smoke coming out, which unfortunately made it very hard to breathe for me.



This was even more comfortable than it looks! That's my sister, btw.
